liquid paint palletizer

Paint palletizing solution

Paint palletizing needs to be customized according to its packaging form (barrel, can, bag), weight, surface characteristics and safety requirements (such as explosion-proof and corrosion-proof) to ensure efficient, stable and safe automated stacking.

1. Core challenges of paint palletizing

1. Packaging diversity

2. Safety and environmental protection requirements

3. Stack stability

II. Clamp design and adaptation plan

1. Barreled paint

Fork arm clamp:

Double fork arms are inserted into the groove at the bottom of the barrel, mechanically locked, suitable for 5-20L iron barrels (such as 300mm in diameter).

Built-in pressure sensor to prevent deformation caused by clamping too tightly.

Vacuum suction cup + clamp composite clamp:

-The suction cup absorbs the top of the barrel and fixes it with a side clamp, which is suitable for smooth plastic barrels without grooves.

2. Canned paint

Sponge suction cup array:

Highly elastic sponge suction cups are suitable for cans of different diameters (such as 1-5L) and resist interference from surface printed labels.

Suction cups are grouped and controlled. When a single can is damaged, other suction cups maintain gripping force.

Barrel (5-20L iron barrel/plastic barrel), can (1-5L small can), bag (flexible packaging), with large size differences (diameter 200-500mm, height 300-800mm).

Surface characteristics: smooth metal barrels are easy to slip, flexible packaging is easy to deform, and printed labels affect suction cup adsorption.

2. Safety and environmental protection requirements

Flammability of paint: explosion-proof design (Ex certification) is required to avoid static sparks.

Leakage prevention: collisions should be avoided during transportation to prevent container damage.

Cleanliness: equipment must be corrosion-resistant (such as stainless steel) to prevent paint residue contamination.

3. Stack stability

Barreled paint has a high center of gravity and needs to be prevented from tipping over when stacking; bagged paint needs to avoid extrusion and deformation.
